With regards to the reflection - LIANG Jen-Hung Solo Exhibition

With regards to the reflection - LIANG Jen-Hung Solo Exhibition

Dates: July 24 to September 1, 2017

Liang Jen-Hung lives in southern Taiwan. He has been exploring the relationship between nature, machine, and religion through artistic creation. In recent years, the artist focuses on kinetic art powered by natural forces, and engages in large outdoor public art projects to convey his contemplation on the environment.

This summer, Taishin Bank Foundation for Arts and Culture invites Liang for an exhibition of his sculpture series, With regards to the reflection. These seemingly polished, motionless stainless steel sculptures can be "activated" with a gentle push, which triggers a chain reaction of joint motion. Their balanced revolving motion conveys the rhythm of the seasonal change in nature as each sculpture's organic, spherical shape reflects its environs and becomes a microcosm of the world. Embodying the unchanging law of nature's movement, these sculptures immerse their spectators in free imagination through their dexterous and fluid motion.
