2009 Hualien International Stone Sculptural Festival –
Stone Sculptural Works Tour Exhibition
The Hualien International Stone Sculptural Festival is one of the important art festivals in Taiwan which earn international acclaims and reputations. The biennial serves as a platform of cultural exchange and has attracted sculptural artists worldwide.
In order to reach a larger population in this year, the festival organized an Outdoor Creative Camp for the first time. The exhibition features twenty sculptural works of both Taiwanese and international artists as well as the model works of twenty five preliminary nominees selected from 250 participating artists. The exhibition will be touring in Taipei and Taichung, taking the audience to feel different charms of the contemporary sculptural art.
