Comments on the Finalist 

“Post-Document” effectively acts as a “tool of reappearance.”  After the universal doubt following structuralism, we cannot continue to consider the impossible elaboration that lies at the center of any realistic return to the concept.  This exhibition of “Post-Document” seems to forge another avenue of inquiry: the different modes of reappearance, and the reappearance of the fragment of an earlier matter, and the use of a machine for manufacturing reappearing objects, with equipment and so on.  These all can be used to enter a specific space, becoming like the textual fragments pasted around the city and providing a kind of newness amid the text, allowing unlimited creative readings.  Overall, this work exhibits remarkable depth as well as masterful execution considering the age group of these artists who are mostly graduate students.
