The musicians of Forum Music along with French contemporary composers, conductors, dancers, and local choruses unite in this colossal production, which also marks the start of Forum Music’s tenth anniversary concert series.  Forum Music could be considered the pioneer of local contemporary music, through ten years of highly original works that stimulate Taiwan’s innovative spirit.  Their music has not only introduced numerous new tunes and, furthermore, many of these new creations are now prized recordings. This program presents a production that brings together a richness and depth of material through the strength of its music, while crossing boundaries and seeking a broader transformation that reinstates its value and integrity.  Although the design is grand, the eccentric and exquisite talents of the musicians are not neglected and are altogether praiseworthy.  The genuine performance of this innovative contemporary work by Forum Music and their collaborators is, most importantly, not due to the relaxed essence of the performance that is today’s “one who knows the stage,” but its diversity, fusion, significance and quality of presentation.  （By Committee Member Fang-yi LIN）
