Taking advantage of the aspects of the performance space and combining physical movement with image devices, Century Contemporary Dance Company developed the little dance made for the National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium into an adventure of imaginary evolution that satirized the protection of marine ecology. With the collaged and minimalist approach, Ocean Carnival— Weeping Ceiling portrayed young people’s new gender relationships and attitudes toward life.
